Debra J. Bryant
Debra J. Bryant, born on June 1, 1956, in North Bend, Oregon, to parents, Troy L. Bryant and Marlene (Abbott) Bryant-Ramos, who preceded her in death along with her brother, David Bryant; and step-father, Jesse “Papa” Ramos. She passed away on June 9, 2026. Throughout her life, Debra was known for her radiant smile and the joyful spirit she carried, despite the health challenges she faced. Her warmth and happiness left a lasting impression on all who knew her, and family held a particularly special place in her heart.
Debra’s devotion to her loved ones was epitomized in her close relationship with her sister Robin Bryant, who was not only her sibling but her best friend. This bond reflected Debra’s deep commitment to family connections and the love she generously had for each family member.
She is survived by her children: Adam Ramos and his wife Erica, and Troy “Levi” Ramos and his wife Sarah. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren Chloe Ramos, Wesley Ramos, and Kolbi Ramos, as well as her great-granddaughter, Aurora Marine. Debra is also survived by her brother, Russell Bryant, and his wife Cathy, along with her beloved sister Robin Bryant; and extended family and friends who cherished Debra and will miss her always.
Debra was preceded in death by her parents, Troy L. Bryant and Eunice “Marlene” (Abbott) Ramos, as well as her brother, David Bryant.
A graveside service to honor Debra’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m, on June 19, 2026, at Social Hill Cemetery, located at 2021 AR-35 in Benton, Arkansas. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Debra are invited to attend.
Debra J. Bryant’s life was characterized by strength, kindness, and an enduring love for her family, traits that will be remembered and cherished by all who had the privilege to know her.

Bobbie Jean Broadway Edmondson
Bobbie Jean Broadway Edmondson went to be with the Lord on June 9, 2026. She was born in Bauxite, Arkansas on February 15, 1938, to Charlie Hayward and Eva Mae Reeves Broadway.
Bobbie was a woman of firsts. She was the first woman to serve as president of the Bryant Education Association, the first woman to serve on the Bryant City Council, and the first member of her family to graduate from college. She attended college after her daughter was a teenager and completed her degree in three years. She then earned her master’s degree in two years while teaching full-time and later obtained a specialty degree in Psychology.
Before that, she taught elementary school and remedial math in the Bryant School District. She also served as Bryant Elementary’s first counselor. After receiving National Certification as a School Psychologist, she worked for nineteen years as a School Psychology Specialist for the Saline County Special Education Cooperative. She served the Bryant, Bauxite, Harmony Grove, and Paron school districts.
Bobbie was a Past Worthy Matron of Bauxite OES #88, a Past President of Bryant Alpha Delta Kappa, and served on the Bryant City Council for many years. After retiring in 1999, she remained active in civic affairs. She was a longtime curator of the Bauxite Museum and, alongside her husband Jabo, reorganized the museum, spending countless hours hanging, framing, and setting up displays. She also served on the board of the Bauxite Historical Association and Museum, delivered food for CJOHN, and volunteered with the Saline County Historical Society.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband and best friend of 57 years, Euell F. “Jabo” Edmondson; her parents; two sisters, Carolyn Nalley and Pat Henningsen; and two brothers, Charles D. Broadway and John “Bud” Broadway.
She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Anne Edmondson Moix, and son-in-law, Richard A. Moix; two granddaughters, Megan Anne Moix Cassil and husband Steven, and Molly Jean Moix Moody; two great-grandchildren, Jamie Cassil and Cheyenne Moody; two sisters, Audrey Webb and Brenda Smith and husband Earl of Bauxite; as well as many nephews, nieces, and friends and her furbaby, Spiegal.
The family would like to thank the Gentiva Hospice nurses, especially Lisa, for their compassionate care and support.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home with Eric Hodges officiating. Burial will follow at Old Bauxite Cemetery. Arrangements are by Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home of Benton. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Bobbie loved all of her family dearly and was very close to each of them.
