First United Methodist Church in Benton Welcomes Autumn Fowler as New Director of Children’s Ministry
First United Methodist Church Benton
BENTON, Ark. — First United Methodist Church in Benton is excited to announce the hiring of Autumn Fowler as its new Director of Children’s Ministry.
In this role, Autumn will lead children’s ministry programming and help create engaging, Christ-centered opportunities for children and families to grow in faith and community.
Autumn attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. She previously worked in the Hot Springs School District and has continued her education through additional accreditation programs, including ESOL certification.
Outside of ministry and education, Autumn is passionate about reading, embracing a new fitness journey, and sharing joyful moments with her husband, Jordan, and their son, Rhysand — especially practicing his favorite dinosaur “rawr.”
“We are thrilled to welcome Autumn to our church family,” said Senior Pastor Russell Hull. “Her experience in education, love for children, and enthusiasm for serving families make her a wonderful fit for this role. We are excited for the impact she will have on our ministry and community.”
Autumn said she is eager to begin building relationships with children and families throughout the church and the Benton community.

First United Methodist Church in Benton Welcomes Autumn Fowler as New Director of Children’s Ministry
First United Methodist Church Benton
BENTON, Ark. — First United Methodist Church in Benton is excited to announce the hiring of Autumn Fowler as its new Director of Children’s Ministry.
In this role, Autumn will lead children’s ministry programming and help create engaging, Christ-centered opportunities for children and families to grow in faith and community.
Autumn attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. She previously worked in the Hot Springs School District and has continued her education through additional accreditation programs, including ESOL certification.
Outside of ministry and education, Autumn is passionate about reading, embracing a new fitness journey, and sharing joyful moments with her husband, Jordan, and their son, Rhysand — especially practicing his favorite dinosaur “rawr.”
“We are thrilled to welcome Autumn to our church family,” said Senior Pastor Russell Hull. “Her experience in education, love for children, and enthusiasm for serving families make her a wonderful fit for this role. We are excited for the impact she will have on our ministry and community.”
Autumn said she is eager to begin building relationships with children and families throughout the church and the Benton community.
“I’m ecstatic to step into this new role at First United Methodist Church in Benton and joyfully serve the many families in the area,” she said.

A Journey Beyond the Past: Anastasia Comes to the Royal Theatre This June
The Royal Theatre is proud to present the enchanting musical Anastasia, running June 11-21, 2026. Audiences are invited to step into a world of mystery, romance, and adventure as this beloved story comes to life on stage.
Inspired by the legend of Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna of Russia, and featuring a sweeping score including favorites like “Journey to the Past” and “Once Upon a December, Anastasia follows a brave young woman named Anya as she sets out to discover her past. From the twilight of the Russian Empire to the vibrant streets of 1920s Paris, her journey is filled with danger, hope, and the possibility of finding where she truly belongs. Anastasia: The Musical is a full-length Broadway musical created by Tony Award-winning book writer Terrence McNally, composer Stephen Flaherty, and lyricist Lynn Ahrens, and inspired by the Twentieth Century Fox film, adapted from Marcelle Maurette’s play as adapted by Guy Bolton.
DATES AND TIMES: Performances will take place June 11-21, 2026, at the historic Royal Theatre. All Thursday, Friday, and Saturday performances (June 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, & 19) will begin at 7:00 pm. Sunday matinees (June 14 & 21) will begin at 2:00 pm. The box office and lobby will open one hour before performance time.
Run time is approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes with one intermission. This show is designated as assigned seating. Please check your seating assignment BEFORE completing your purchase. We are able to exchange, transfer, or move tickets to another date or person. All sales are final, and refunds cannot be issued.

Box office ticket prices are: $22 general admission; $17 for seniors age 60+, college students, and members of the military; $12 for ages 3 through 12th grade, which includes all fees. Rescheduled Ribbon Cutting Ceremony – Southwest Trail – Saline County Segment S8A

On behalf of Saline County Judge Matt Brumley, you are invited to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony for Saline County’s first completed segment of the Southwest Trail.
Wednesday, June 17, 2026 | 9:00 am | Near Vimy Ridge Immanuel Baptist Church – 12214 Germania Road, Alexander, AR 72002.
The ceremony will celebrate the completion of Segment S8A, an approximately 2.5-mile section of trail that connects directly to Pulaski County’s existing trail system. The segment represents the first completed portion of the Southwest Trail in Saline County and marks a significant milestone in the development of the regional 65-mile trail system connecting Little Rock and Hot Springs.
Parking will be available at Vimy Ridge Immanuel Baptist Church. Due to limited parking near the ceremony site, attendees are encouraged to carpool. Shuttle transportation will be available from the parking area to the ribbon cutting location. Click Here for the flyer.
