The September 17th Third Thursday event will be themed Faith and Family. This free festival will take place from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., drawing the community to the historic downtown area for food, local vendors, and family activities. Read more below.
In addition to live music, food trucks, adult beverages from Bodiddle’s, a kid zone, and local vendor booths… Habitat for Humanity will auction off two big items – a wooden dog house and wooden chicken coop. You must be present to bid. The winning bidders can pick up their item or schedule a delivery.
All proceeds will go to Habitat For Humanity’s Apostles Build, so come out and bid on these two beautiful items and help support our cause for affordable housing in Saline County.
Organizers encourage visitors to bring lawn chairs, friends, and family to enjoy the evening.
To accommodate the crowds, city crews will close sections of four streets – Main Street, Sevier Street, River Street, and South Street – to all vehicle traffic.
The Third Thursday series runs monthly from April through September. Organizers invite vendors, entertainers, and activity leaders to participate in future dates; interested parties can contact Matt Thibault at [email protected].
