Bobby Eugene Vocque
Bobby Eugene Vocque of Bismarck, Arkansas, the son of the late Eugene and Juanita Vocque of Little Rock, passed on June 14th, 2026 in the company of children and grandchildren. Bob was the husband of the late Joyce Vocque, also of Bismarck, Arkansas. Bob is survived by his sisters Billie Betherum, Judy Studer, Lynn Ford, and Donna Larch. He was preceded in passing by his siblings Betty Micheal, Geneva Amman, Jack Vocque, Sue Paulette, Jerry Vocque, and daughter Carla Green.
Surviving children include his son Robert Weinzettl and wife Elisabeth in Austria, daughters Barbara Thompson and Sherry Ball in Arkansas, and son Bobby E. Vocque, II and wife Phyllis Suzette of Wisconsin. The grandchildren include Blake Dortch (Oklahoma), Rachel Barnes (Arkansas), Tabitha Vocque (Massachusetts), Mitchell Stubbs (Arkansas), Nicci Groiss (Austria), Lauren Laney (Arkansas), Stephanie Beigel (California), Mario Weinzettl (Austria), and Amanda Vocque (Massachusetts). He leaves behind thirteen great-grandchildren.
Born in Little Rock, he quit school as the eldest son to help support the family. He enlisted in the US Air Force as a generator mechanic and had assignments in Montana, Arkansas, and Germany. After his tour of duty, he returned to Arkansas and gained employment with the Teletype Corporation (AT&T, later Lucent). Throughout his life, Bob had a passion for fishing and participated in many Bass Tournaments around Arkansas.
On December 1, 1973, he was raised as a Master Mason in Lodge #260 of Sheridan, Arkansas. Bob proceeded to advance in degrees to achieve the 32nd Degree in the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, Southern Jurisdiction on May 12th, 1979. Bob believed in spreading the love, peace, charity, and brotherhood principle of the fraternity.
When not working or fishing, Bob contributed to the community as a member of the First Baptist Church of Bismarck, a Deacon, volunteer firefighter, and bus driver to name a few. He was well known and cherished by all. He lived his life as guided by 1st Corinthians 13.
A Memorial Service will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday, June 20, 2026 at the First Baptist Church of Bismarck, Arkansas
