Jack Isom Herndon
Jack Isom Herndon, age 56, of Benton, passed away Monday, May 25, 2026. He was born October 4, 1969 in Houston, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack & Margaret Herndon and his parents, Rusty & Susan Herndon.
Jack is survived by his brother, J.P. Herndon and wife Jennie of Hot Springs; Kelly Herring-Smith of Benton; nephews, Trevor Herndon of Benton, Austin Herndon and wife Serenity and their children Presley & Caroline, and Peyton Herndon of North Carolina; niece, Macy Morgan of Benton; and a host of family & friends that loved him dearly.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 28 at Ashby Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 29 at Lee Cemetery in Benton. Keith Thomas will be officiating.

Dorothy Ellen Anderson Richards
Dorothy Ellen Anderson Richards, 88, of Benton, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026. Dorothy was born on August 28, 1937 at the Bauxite Hospital in Bauxite, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Leonard (Shorty) and Marie Anderson. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Don Richards and a daughter, Donna Richards Viti.
She is survived by her daughter, Dede Arnold of Littleton, Colorado and a brother, George (Carol Ann) Anderson, Jr of Carmel, Indiana. Other survivors include her nieces, Laura Anderson of Ashland City, TN and Dana (Jimmy) Owens of Benton. Robert (Melissa) Blackburn of Modesto, California and John (Pam) Blackburn of Lancaster, CA.
Dorothy grew up in Bauxite and attended the Bauxite School System graduating from Bauxite High School in 1955. Dorothy was an educator having taught in the Arkadelphia and Benton School systems. Her last position was school principal of Angie Grant Elementary School in Benton. Dorothy loved the outdoors and as long as she could, she enjoyed living on her farm along the Saline River. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Benton and had played the piano for her Sunday School class.
Arrangements are being made by Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home in Benton and a graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 11:00AM at the James Family Cemetery, located in Benton.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Bauxite Historical Association and Museum at BHAM P.O. Box 245 Bauxite, Arkansas 72011
Diania Ellen Hall
Diania Ellen Hall, 80, of Benton, passed away peacefully at home on May 24, 2026. She was born on September 8, 1945, in Searcy, Arkansas, to Jesse and Mona Hinds.
Diania was a devoted member of Amazing Grace Baptist Church. She also dedicated 35 years of service to Timex and Machinists Union of America.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, John W. Hinds; her son, Stephen Hall; her husband of 48 years, Roy W. Hall; and two grandchildren, Erin Merritt and Nathan Hall.
Diania is survived by her daughter, Stephani Huchingson (Lowell); her son, Roger Hall (Shana); her granddaughter, Shelly Jones; her grandsons, Mathew Hall (Isabella), Bailey Hall, and Braydon Hall; and her other grandchildren, Ada, Leah, Gracie, and Caroline Huchingson. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren, Kash Jones, Dakota Hall, Karson Hall, and Erin Norton, along with a host of other family members and friends who will truly miss her.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 29, 2026, at Old Union Cemetery with Bro. Charles Roach officiating.
Visitation will be Thursday evening, May 28, 2026, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home.
