Important Information
County officials emphasized that there is currently no individual or public financial assistance available. Submitting damage reports is a required first step to provide documentation for the Governor’s Office to consider a formal disaster declaration. A public notice will be issued if assistance becomes available.
Safety Reminder
Residents are urged not to go inside damaged structures, especially those with sagging roofs or partial collapses. Officials warned that continued low temperatures and lingering ice is increasing the risk of secondary collapses.
County officials thanked residents for their cooperation and said additional information will be shared as it becomes available.
