CJCOHN will have two regular food distributions in February 2026. Read details below about getting help with food or clothing, as well as how to donate or volunteer.

The distributions will take place on the dates below. The times will be 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., or until food runs out. Get there early and pay attention to volunteers controlling the traffic.

WHERE IS IT:
CJCOHN is located at 103 E. Elm Street, Benton, Arkansas. Be aware of the route to enter the side gate at CJCOHN:
Take Market St. to Walnut St. to Main St. to form a line. Distribution begins at 10 a.m. When food runs out, they close the gates.

WHO QUALIFIES:
In 2026, CJCOHN will no longer be able to assist anyone who resides outside of Saline County and specific outlying locations within. All residents in Little Rock, Hensley, Lonsdale, or Malvern should visit a pantry closer to their residences.
Photo identification will be required in order to receive assistance. CJCOHN serves residents of Saline County, Arkansas.
CJCOHN does NOT offer assistance with utilities or rent.
HOW TO DONATE:
Monetary donations are always needed and may be mailed to CJCOHN PO Box 1146 Benton, AR 72018. Community support is greatly appreciated.
Clothing, shoes, and handbag donations are being accepted. Please no women’s clothing at this time. Best days to drop off donated items are the FIRST AND THIRD TUESDAY mornings each month from 9 – 11 a.m. Please do not deliver donations on Wednesdays. Volunteers are busy helping clients on Wednesday distribution days.
Immediate needs are:
- Children’s winter clothing (size newborn – 14)
- Coats for children
- Toothbrushes
- Hairbrushes
- 16-ounce jars of peanut butter
Free clothing for clients will be available on distribution days only. Clients should tell the intake volunteer they need clothing. Clients will be allowed to enter the building for 15 minutes to select clothing items. Clients accompanied by children may be asked to wait outside briefly because only two children may be inside the clothing area at the same time due to safety precautions.
HOW TO VOLUNTEER:
Volunteers are welcome to help with tasks on the first and third Tuesdays (prep) and Wednesdays (distribution). Just show up.
Tuesdays
Food is packed and set up for the distribution.
Park outside the gates, on the street.
Show up at 9am.
Takes a couple of hours more or less, depending on number of volunteers.
Wednesdays
Food is distributed.
Park outside the gates, on the street.
Show up at 9am.
You’ll be assigned a duty. Ex: traffic control, checking IDs, greeting clients, asking their order, carrying food boxes/bags, etc.
How it works:

- Client vehicles will line up on Main St.
- Volunteers will check in the clients.
- Clients will drive through the gate and parking lot.
- Volunteers will get food boxes/bags and carry them to the client vehicles and place inside their vehicles or in trunk.
If anyone asks, CJCOHN does NOT offer assistance with utilities or rent.
