A local milestone half a century in the making is set to be honored this month, as the community gathers to celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary of James and Jenny Carlisle.
The Carlisle family invites friends, neighbors, and former colleagues to a “come and go” reception on Sunday, May 31. The celebration will held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Northside Church of Christ, located at 917 N. East St. in Benton.
The event is designed as a casual afternoon of fellowship and reflection. Attendees who have personal photos or favorite stories involving the couple are encouraged to bring them to the reception to share with the family and guests.
