Saline County Striders invites the public to the 6-week walk/run clinic. It’s for beginners and seasoned runners. Oh and it’s free.

All ages and abilities can benefit from this program. The first day is Tuesday, April 1st. The location is the Bryant Junior High Track off South Reynolds Rd and Hill Farm Road (near the Saline County Regional Airport).
Organizers say, “You’ll embark on a fun-filled journey that will lead you to your graduation event—a lively clinic 5K, also hosted by the Saline County Striders, on May 8, 2025.”
The clinic sessions are 6:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. You can also get extra miles in, with the group runs at 6:00 a.m. on Saturdays. Locations will vary, but they’ll always be in the Saline County area.
Walker Group:
Learn to walk up to 3 miles with intervals of slow and fast walking. Each week, you’ll see your pace and endurance grow!
Beginning Runner Group A:
Perfect for those who aren’t running yet but want to conquer that 5K.
Beginning Runner Group B:
If you can run for 3 minutes or less at a time, this group will help you build up your stamina.
Intermediate Runner:
Ready to run more consistently? This will help you build up to a solid 3-mile run.
Advanced Runner:
Looking to up your speed and distance? This group is all about pushing your limits!
