Dal Smith Taylor
Dal Smith Taylor of Benton passed away Saturday, April 4, 2026. She was the oldest of 9 children born to James Walton Smith and Frances Peeler Smith.
Dal is survived by her daughters Debbie Rauschenberger and Cathy (Michael) Westbrook, both of Benton. She also leaves behind 3 grandchildren, Jess (Laura) Westbrook of Benton; Ronni (Tyler) Smith of Tulsa, OK; and Jordan (Cody) Holland of Fayetteville, as well as 8 great grandchildren, Kase, Kyle, and Kate Westbrook; Kai, Cove, and Marley Smith; and Carter Holland.
She is survived by 1 sister, Syb Hayden of Grand Junction, CO, and 1 brother, John Smith of Justin, TX. Dal was blessed with a favorite cousin, Dee Brazil Dale, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories, and a bonus third daughter/friend, Beverly Watts King, spending hours talking while sharing a Coke and Moon Pie.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ray L. Taylor, grandson Joshua Taylor Westbrook, and son in law Michael Rauschenberger. She was also preceded in death by brothers LJ, Harvey (Hot), and Ronnie Smith, and sisters, Dorothy Bullard, Mary McCool, and Brenda Smith.
Graveside services will be Friday, April 10 at 10:00 a.m. at Pinecrest Cemetery.

Joel Arvel Day
Joel Arvel Day, a beloved retired minister and respected community member, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2026, in Benton, Arkansas. Born on July 5, 1934, in Meridian, Mississippi, Joel lived a life dedicated to service, faith, and family.
Joel’s journey was marked by his commitment to his country, serving honorably in the Army before devoting himself to his calling as a minister. Through his ministry, he touched many lives with compassion, wisdom, and unwavering guidance, earning the admiration and gratitude of those he served.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Audrey Euline Day, who stood by his side throughout their many years together. Joel was a proud father to three children: Audrey K. Tully and her husband Rod; Diane Rowe and her husband Dean; and Gary A. Day. Their children, in turn, blessed him with a cherished group of grandchildren: Mickey Edward McGuire and his wife Linda, Anthony Shane Scott, Amber Dawn Noyas and her husband Jake, Tobi Lynn Cole and her husband Leroy, Tiffany Farris, Jennifer Barks and her husband Ricky, and Cheyenne Adams and her husband Hunter. Joel’s legacy also lives on through his great-grandchildren, as well as several great-great-grandchildren.
Though deeply mourned, Joel’s family finds comfort in the loving memories they hold of not only him but also of the grandchildren they have lost: Michele Diane Light and Shaun Michael McGuire. Their memories remain a poignant part of the family’s story.
Joel Arvel Day’s life embodied devotion to his faith, his country, and most dearly, his family. While his presence will be profoundly missed, his legacy lives on in the lives he touched.

Patricia Carol Campbell
Patricia Carol Campbell passed away peacefully, leaving behind a life filled with love, family, and cherished memories.
She was preceded in death by her spouse, June Munson, and her parents, Charles E. Campbell Sr. and Margie Branch Campbell.
She is survived by her loving wife, Eileen Lopez; her children, Christopher Munson and Raquel Jenkins; her grandchildren, DC Munson, Matthew Munson, and Kori Munson; and her great grandchildren, Charli Munson, Rylan Munson, Harleigh Munson, Paxton Munson, and Ashton Munson.
She is also survived by her sister, Cindy Buchanan and her husband Mark; her brother, Charles E. Campbell Jr. and his wife Deborah Campbell; and her nephew, Luke Campbell and his wife Allison Campbell.
Patricia was someone who loved being around anything related to motorsports. Some of her favorite memories were spent at the I-30 Speedway, watching her son Chris race in the late 90s and early 2000s. Later, she found joy traveling to Go-kart tracks across the state with her grandson DC. Traveling was a meaningful part of her life, especially the time she spent visiting her grandson Matthew and his kids, Rylan and Harleigh, were moments she treasured deeply.
She proudly earned her bachelor’s degree and went on to work for Alcoa Corporation in Bauxite, where she dedicated over 30 years of service. Her career took her across the country and even out of the country, reflecting her strong work ethic and commitment.
Above all, Patricia was a loving and compassionate person who was always willing to help anyone. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home.
