Charles Curtis “Curly” Jacobs
Charles Curtis “Curly” Jacobs age 90 of Benton passed away Thursday, March 19, 2026. He was born June 12, 1935 in Tull, Arkansas. He worked for Alcoa as a Millwright for 44 years.
He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Elizabeth McKelvey Jacobs, daughter, Kimberly Ruth Jacobs, brother, Richard Vincent Jacobs, parents, Charles Ewell Jacobs and Gladys Myrtle Zahringer Jacobs.
He is survived by children, John Charles Jacobs, Carolyn Alisa Nagel, Sharon Louise Gaines and Vincent Curtis Jacobs; sisters, Lou Ann Hopkins (Johnny), Betty Jayne Rollon (Grady), 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Curly was one of a kind, a perfectionist in many ways. For example, when he mowed his yard each row would be as straight as a stretched string. He loved cars, as a teenager and raced down 35 highway many times with his buddies. Keeping his cars spotless was most important. He seriously studied the racing forms for his daily picks.
Public viewing is Saturday, March 21 through Wednesday March 25 at Ashby’s Funeral Home in Benton.
Visitation with family before service at 10:00 to 11:00 Thursday.
Funeral is Thursday, March 26 at 11:00 AM at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 8319 N. Main Street, Tull, AR. 72015. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery.

Sandra Kay Foster
Sandra Kay Foster, age 76, passed away on March 17, 2026. She was born on September 28, 1949, and lived a life rooted in love, faith, and devotion to her family.
Sandra was the beloved wife of Bill Foster, with whom she shared 58 wonderful years of marriage. She was a loving and devoted mother to her four daughters, Frances (Chris) Hogue, Teresa (Jeff) Griffin, Loretta (John) Heavner, and Carrie (Brian) Bollin. She also lovingly helped raise her grandsons, Kaleb and Joshua, whom she cherished deeply. Sandra instilled in her family the importance of love, closeness, and caring for one another.
She was a faithful member of New Hope Church of the Nazarene, where her deep love for God and her church family was evident in the way she lived her life. Sandra enjoyed writing letters, often sending thoughtful notes and encouragement to others. She had a compassionate heart and found joy in lifting others up.
Sandra had a special love for animals, especially monkeys, which were her favorite. She also adored her dogs, Pookie, Major, Bubba, and Sissy, who brought her much happiness over the years.
She is preceded in death by her grandson, Joshua Heavner; great-grandchildren, Jordan Cook and Josiah Garcia; her parents, Charles Whitaker and Frances Weddington; her siblings, Charles Whitaker, Deloris, and Doug; and her grandparents, Sam and Lilly Weddington.
Sandra leaves behind a legacy of love through her devoted husband, Bill Foster; her daughters; and a large and loving family. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Brandy, Billie, Tabitha, James, Jason, Cody, Chad, Alex, Alexa, Lilly, Haily, Jacob, Destiny, Steven Ray, Harley Marsh, and Myanna; as well as numerous great-grandchildren, including Kaleb, Emma, Katy, Tyler, Jace, Jaylen, Jameson, Joshua, Gracie, Chandler, Stephanie, Chandler Jayden, Karley, Brooklyn, Lane, Evelyn, Ellie, Nolan, Harrison, Sadie, Paisley, Presley, and many others who will continue to carry her love forward.
Sandra will be remembered for her kind heart, her unwavering faith, and the deep love she had for her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Celebration of life will be Monday, March 23,2026 at 11:00 A.M at New Hope Church of the Nazarene. Burial to follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
Pallbeares include, Jeff Griffin, John Heavner,Christopher Hogue, Kaleb Marsh, Joshua Cook II and Brian Bollin.
