1. WHAT’S ON THE BALLOT
✔️ May 13, 2025 – City of Bryant.
BALLOT LANGUAGE:
The bonds described below that are approved may be combined into a single issue or may be issued in series from time to time. If the bonds for one or both purposes are approved and if one of such purposes is the Refunding Bonds, there will be levied a new 0.5% sales and use tax, the net collections of which remaining after deduction of the administrative charges of the State of Arkansas and required rebates will be used solely to retire the bonds and obligations of the City with respect thereto. The tax will replace the City’s existing 0.5% sales and use tax levied in 2016 for the sole purpose of retiring bonds. The effective date of the new tax will be the day following the date the existing tax expires. The rate of taxation will be 0.5% even if bonds for both purposes are approved. No bonds will be issued for any purpose unless the Refunding Bonds are also approved. The 0.5% sales and use tax will expire after the bonds have been paid or provision is made therefor in accordance with Arkansas statutes.
REFUNDING BONDS: Bonds of the City of Bryant in the maximum aggregate principal amount of $14,720,000 for the purpose of refunding the City’s outstanding Sales and Use Tax Bonds, Improvement Series 2016B and, in order to pay the bonds, the levy and pledge of a 0.5% local sales and use tax within the City. VOTE FOR OR AGAINST
IMPROVEMENT BONDS: Bonds of the City of Bryant in the maximum aggregate principal amount of $33,285,000 for the purpose of financing all or a portion of the costs of a convention, meeting and entertainment facility and any land acquisition, furnishings, equipment and parking, landscaping, signage, drainage, lighting, street and utility improvements related thereto and, in order to pay the bonds, the levy and pledge of a 0.5% local sales and use tax within the City. VOTE FOR OR AGAINST.
✔️ May 13, 2025 – Fountain Lake & Jessieville Annual School Election.

✔️ May 13, 2025 – Glen Rose Annual School Election.
Saline County voters in this district will vote in Hot Spring County. *In odd years, school elections are conducted in the domiciled county of the school district.
✔️ Nov 11, 2025 – Bauxite, Benton, Bryant, Harmony Grove & Pulaski County Special Annual School Election. (Info TBA)
2. WHEN & WHERE TO VOTE
A. Register to Vote
The deadline to register to vote in the May 13, 2025 election was Tuesday, April 14, 2025. The deadline to update registration to a new name or address may be a later deadline. Contact Saline County Clerk’s Office at (501) 303-5630 to ask if there’s still time.

On Election Day, if you are a registered voter in line by 7:30 p.m., you’re entitled to vote. If you encounter anything otherwise, stay in line and call the Voter Protection Line at 501-294-2178.
Election officials will be posted October 14th in the Saline County Clerk’s Office, 215 N. Main Street, Benton. Objections concerning officials can be filed with the Saline County Election Commission by contacting the Clerk’s office at (501) 303-5630.
