This page is for Burn Ban status in Saline County, and instructions for what to do when there is an active burn ban.
See more below.
🔥Saline County Judge Matt Brumley has LIFTED the countywide court ordered BURN BAN, effective IMMEDIATELY.
When there is a burn ban in effect, or if there’s a period of caution, here’s what you should do:
What should I do?
When the county is under a burn ban, it includes fireworks, campfires, trash burning, open flame grilling, and prescribed / controlled burns. The status of burn bans are monitored daily, with updates provided as conditions improve.Â
🔥 Never leave an open flame unattended. (Closed grills are okay to use.)
🔥 Avoid outdoor burning during windy conditions, including bonfires and campfires.
🔥 Follow all fire safety guidelines and local regulations.
🔥 Do your part to keep our community safe by taking fire safety seriously.
Who is in charge of this?
Arkansas Code Annotated 12-75-108 empowers the County Judge to declare a burn ban when local circumstances or conditions present a hazard to the health and safety of the citizens.
