The City of Benton Personnel, Health & Safety Committee will meet on Monday, March 16th in the Mayor’s Conference Room at 6:00 p.m.
Topics of discussion will include how to prepare for Coronavirus – or COVID-19 – and how to fill the soon-to-be vacant office of City Attorney.
The current City Attorney, Brent Houston, led a successful campaign for Circuit Judge in 3rd Division. Houston will serve until the end of 2020. That office’s term is four years, so there will be two years remaining in the term when Houston leaves.
The agenda follows:
- Chair – Bill Donnor
- Evelyn Reed
- Jocelyn Cash
- Jeff Hamm
- Jeff Morrow
- Staff Liaison – Christiane Crabtrey
- Establish a Quorum / Call to Order
- Recognition of Attendees
- Corona Virus Contingency Plan
- City Attorney Position
