Milton “Banks” Barnes
Milton “Banks” Barnes never met a stranger. He was the kind of man who could strike up a conversation with anyone, make them laugh, and leave them feeling like an old friend. A hardworking, self-employed man, he spent his life providing for his family and making the most of every moment.
Known as the life of the party, Banks loved his family, his friends, time at the lake, and a good joke. In true Banks fashion, he even named his boat “Blown Inheritance.” Even in his final days, he continued to make others smile, reminding us all of the joy he brought to every room he entered.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Tammy Barnes; daughters, Lacy (Brandon) Lambert and VanNa (Sean) Barnes; son, Reid (Rodie) Barnes; four beloved grandchildren, Abby-Grace Lambert, Parker Lambert, Colson Barnes, and Rawlin Barnes; his mother, Jerel Barnes; sisters, Debbie (Tim) Hatch and Robin (Bobby) Massanelli; his brother, Mitch (Brenda) Barnes; and several cherished nieces and nephews.
His legacy of laughter, hard work, and love for his family will live on through all who knew him. He was there for our first breaths, and we were there for his last.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
Funeral services will held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home in Benton with Bro. Eric Lemons officiating. Burial will follow at at Forest Hills Memorial Park, located in Alexander.
