Merchants & Farmers Bank welcomes three Saline County residents in new roles with the institution – two board members and one Vice President.
The Board of Merchants & Farmers Financial Corporation recent elected Paul Childress & Sarah Farmer to join as Directors. The bank also recently hired Laura R. Westbrook as Vice President / Trust Officer.
Sarah Farmer is a pediatric dentist and co-owner at Saline County Children’s Dentistry. She is a native of McGehee, AR. A graduate of Ouachita Baptist University and the University of Tennessee where she received her dental degree as well as completing her residency in Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Farmer lives in Benton with her husband, Circuit Judge Josh Farmer and their three children.
Paul Childress, a lifetime resident of Benton, is serving his first term in the Arkansas House of Representatives for District 83. He is currently the Vice-President of Sales for NFP Insurance in Benton. He serves on the Benton School Board, Mercy Hospital Child Advocacy Center, Chairman of Saline County CASA, Chairman of the Saline County Planning Commission and President of Saline County Kiwanis. Paul lives in Benton with his wife (Jenny) and their three children.
Laura R Westbrook graduated magna cum laude from Ouachita Baptist University and then graduated with high honors from the William H. Bowen School of Law in Little Rock. She is a licensed attorney with 14 years of legal experience in complex financial matters. She lives in Benton with her husband and three children.
