2. Bryant Comprehensive Street Improvement Plan
GarNat Engineering and Volkert – Presentation on Street Improvement Plan and Survey The City of Bryant is committed to
providing safe, reliable, and efficient transportation for all residents, businesses, and visitors. As part of our ongoing efforts to
improve streets, sidewalks, intersections, and other transportation infrastructure, we are seeking your input on areas within the
city that need attention. This survey is designed to help us identify problem areas—such as traffic congestion, roadway conditions,
pedestrian safety, bike accessibility, and other transportation challenges. Your feedback will guide city leaders and planners as we
prioritize improvements and develop long-term solutions for Bryant’s transportation network. We encourage all Bryant motorists
to share their experiences and concerns. By participating, you are helping us build a safer, stronger, and more connected
community.

4. Discussion – Potential Cultural Event & NRPA Mini-Grant Opportunity
Background:
In previous meetings, the Community Engagement Committee has expressed interest in hosting a community cultural event.
The National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) has announced a mini-grant opportunity (up to $2,000) to support
events tied to the Kellogg Foundation’s National Day of Racial Healing (NDORH) in January 2026.This grant can fund new or existing events that promote racial healing, cultural celebration, or community connection.
Eligible activities include:
Cultural or storytelling events
Family engagement activities or play days
Professional development or team-building opportunities for staff
History or equity learning sessions related to parks and recreation
Discussion Points:
Does the committee want to pursue this mini-grant opportunity?
If so, what type of event aligns best with Bryant’s community values and current capacity?
Can we realistically plan and host an event by January 2026, or should we consider a later timeline?
Who would lead coordination and grant application efforts if we decide to move forward?
Next Steps:
submission deadline.
Determine interest and feasibility, and identify potential event themes or partners to explore before the November 12
