The race for City and Town office is officially underway across Saline County. As of this writing, 44 prospective candidates have picked up petitions for the upcoming November 3, 2026, election. Read more below.

The open period for picking up a petition for office runs through August 5th. The period to return the petitions and officially file for office is July 29 at noon, through August 5th at noon.
