The event will take place across the road from Little Sprouts Academy, located at 14803 N. Sardis Road in Mabelvale, AR. Local officials, trail partners, and community leaders will be in attendance to speak about the trail’s impact and the regional collaboration that brought it to this point.
Saline County’s first constructed segment will stretch 2.5 miles from the Pulaski County line to Germania Road. Once complete, the Southwest Trail will create a continuous route for cyclists, runners, and pedestrians across three counties, blending recreational opportunity with historical and scenic value—including a future crossing over the historic Old River Bridge in Benton.
Members of the public and press are encouraged to attend and celebrate this major milestone in one of the largest trail projects in Arkansas history.
