Hello, my name is Karen Brown. I am a Community Health Worker (CHW) on behalf of UAMS and AFMC. I am reaching out to you to introduce myself and tell you a little about the work we are trying to do. We are working in rural communities to overcome Covid-19 vaccine hesitancy. We plan to do this by educating and offering free Covid-19 vaccines to these communities. I will be the community health worker for this County.
We would love the opportunity to work with you and your organization at any upcoming events you may be planning. A community health worker could attend a festival, meeting, seminar, etc. that you are hosting and provide an educational presentation and answer questions about the Covid-19 vaccine. We are also available to work with you to arrange a vaccine clinic event, with no charge to your organization or the attendees, to administer the Covid-19 vaccine for those who are interested. For those who are unsure, a CHW will be available to address questions and concerns as needed.
I will be reaching out to you soon to answer any questions or to see how I can be a support to your organization. You may also respond to this email or call me at 479-384-2262, if you have any questions. I sincerely hope we will be working together in the near future to combat COVID-19 in our community.
Thank You
Karen Brown CHW
