Drive thru coffee shop to replace gas station in Benton

There are a lot of new businesses announcements for Saline County lately and today is no different. There’s a coffee shop I went to in Fayetteville, Arkansas, because I’d seen people talking about it on social media and needed to check it out for myself. What they said was good coffee, friendly employees and easy service.

We all know if the coffee is going to be any good, you will have to wait for them to make it. And that’s fine as long as you are getting good service and a quality product. That is exactly the experience I had. The caramel and coconut mocha tasted like German chocolate cake in a cup. 

Who and where? The corporate offices of 7 Brew Coffee confirmed for me on Thursday that they are currently in the process of coming to the property at 1415 Military Road. 7 Brew has signature coffee drinks, teas, smoothies, energy drinks and more. They are a drive-thru only restaurant.

The news from corporate was, “We just got approval for our location today, so we would love to announce it to the Benton community. We will begin construction in April and open this summer!”

They said they will tear down the current building and then drop their new stand in its place. If you look up the address on the map, you’ll see it’s the former Gulf gas station and currently, it’s occupied by Carmelita’s Mexican Diner. A representative from the restaurant stated they will be moving, but they don’t have news to announce yet about where they will be.
