7 Brew’s new Alcoa location presents over $11,000 to CASA of Saline County
7 Brew Coffee is marking the grand opening of its new Alcoa location by donating $11,527 to CASA of Saline County.
The contribution was raised through a community opening event supporting court-appointed advocates for local children in foster care due to abuse or neglect. Read more below.
The funds were raised during 7 Brew Benton’s “Caffeine for a Cause” donation weekend Oct. 16–18 at 8200 Alcoa Road in Benton. Customers were invited to pay what they wanted for drinks, with all proceeds directed to CASA of Saline County.
“We’ve felt such a warm welcome from Benton, and we’re so excited to give that love right back,” Jacqueline Dorris, community manager for 7 Brew Benton, said. “Partnering with CASA of Saline County gives us an incredible opportunity to stand behind local children and families when they need it most.”
Barbara McCreight, executive director of CASA of Saline County, expressed gratitude for the corporate partnership. “Our mission of helping children find safe and permanent homes cannot be done without the support of community-minded businesses such as 7 Brew,” McCreight said. “We are so grateful to be honored with their contribution and help!”
