Community members are invited to sample local chili recipes, participate in a silent auction, and support children in need at the Red, White & Chili Cookoff & Community Event on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026.
The lunchtime fundraiser will take place at the Benton Event Center from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with proceeds directly benefiting CASA of Saline County. Read more below.
The event will be held at the Benton Event Center, located at 17322 I-30 in Benton.
Attendees will have the opportunity to taste a variety of chili entries prepared by local competitors and vote for their favorite recipes. Along with the chili tasting, the community gathering will feature family-friendly food, activities, and a silent auction showcasing items donated by area businesses and supporters.
All proceeds raised from the event will go directly toward funding CASA of Saline County (Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children). The nonprofit organization recruits, trains, and supports community volunteers who advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children navigating the foster care and court systems.
