CASA of Saline County announces the winners for the annual Red, White & Chili Cookoff & Community Event held Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026, at the Benton Event Center.
The lunchtime fundraiser brought community members together to sample more than 30 local chili entries and vote on top awards while raising funds for CASA of Saline County.

The event, held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., allowed attendees to taste chili recipes prepared by area businesses and organizations, participate in a silent auction, and cast votes for top competitors and city bragging rights.
THE WINNERS:
First Place Judge’s Choice Award for Best Chili goes to Century 21 Parker & Scroggins Realty.Â
Judge’s Choice Awards – Chili
Panel judges evaluated chili entries based on taste and recipe quality, awarding the top three spots to:
- 1st Place: Century 21 Parker & Scroggins Realty
- 2nd Place: Gateway Bank
- 3rd Place: Truman Ball Real Estate
First Place People’s Choice Award for Best Chili goes to Realty One Group Pinnacle.Â
People’s Choice Awards – Chili
The People’s Choice winners were determined by attendees placing monetary contributions into each competitor’s tip jar:
- 1st Place: Realty One Group Pinnacle
- 2nd Place: Truman Ball Real Estate
- 3rd Place: Century 21 Parker & Scroggins Realty
First Place Judge’s Spirit Award for Best Decor goes to Baxley-Penfield-Moudy Realtors.Â
Spirit Award – Decor
The Spirit Award recognized team costumes, booth decorations, and overall theme promotion:
- 1st Place: Baxley-Penfield-Moudy Realtors
- 2nd Place: Bobs UBrkIfix
- 3rd Place: Jedidiah Sawyer Tree Service
City Competition
Event participants placed voting tickets into designated boxes for Benton and Bryant to decide the local municipal challenge:
- City Award Winner: City of Benton
THE GALLERY:
All proceeds raised from ticket sales, tip jars, and silent auction items directly benefit CASA of Saline County (Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children), supporting trained community volunteers who advocate for children in the foster care system.
