John Ellis Kennedy, Sr.
John Ellis Kennedy, Sr., age 81, of Bryant, Arkansas, passed away on September 25, 2026.
John was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend. He was married to his beloved wife, Joann Kennedy, 63 years. Above all, John loved his family and treasured the life they built together.
John loved to hunt and fish, but above all, he loved his family. He was a loyal and devoted husband and father who took great pride in the people he loved. He shared his passion, integrity, and knowledge of life with his family, leaving them with lessons, stories, and memories that will continue to be passed down through the generations.
John was a co-owner of Letter Press Graphics and took pride in his work. He also proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, serving in Blytheville, Arkansas, for four years.
John will be remembered for his love of family, his loyalty, his wisdom, and the many ways he shared his knowledge and experience with those around him. His legacy will live on through the family he loved so deeply.
Preceded in Death
John was preceded in death by his son, Robert Wayne Kennedy; his siblings, Max Kennedy, Mary Applegate, and Faye Yant; his parents, George Ernest Kennedy and Esther Lois Bennett; and his brothers in law, Erby Yant, Clyde Donley, and Paul Bain.
Survived By
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Joann Kennedy; his sons, John E. Kennedy, Jr. and Darrell Wayne Kennedy; his grandchildren, Dustin Scott Kennedy and Megan Brooke Jester (Derek); his great grandchildren, Drake Kennedy and Cade Jester; his siblings, Ferrell Kennedy, Lou Donley, and Judy Lake; and his brothers in law, Kenneth Bain (Patty) and Buddy Lake, along with numerous family and friends.
John’s life was one of family, dedication, and love. Though he is no longer with those he loved the lessons he taught, the memories he created, and the legacy he leaves behind will continue through the generations.
He loved deeply, lived faithfully, and left behind a legacy that will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Funeral Services
Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Dial & Dudley Funeral Home.

Myra H (Davis) Tackett
Myra H (Davis) Tackett, 81 of Little Rock transitioned from this life peacefully on September 26th, 2026. Myra was born on June 13th, 1945, to Duke J Davis and Minnie G. Davis. She was the third of seven children. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Jerry Don, Linda, Alvin, Wanda, Lonnie Ray, and Calvin.
Over the course of Myra’s life, she was married three times. Her first husband, Arthur Stinnett, of Camden was killed in an industrial accident a few years after their marriage. In time, she would remarry Donald Roberts, until his passing. Eventually, she reconnected with her high school sweetheart, Henry “Frog” Tackett Sr. and they were married in 1988 until his death in 2013.
She is survived by her son, Michael Ashley and his husband Joseph Hall. Stepchildren Jimmy Tackett and wife Gail, Henry “Junior” Tackett and stepdaughter Stacy Flannigan, and multiple grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends too numerous to mention here.
Myra loved simple pleasures in life such as her beloved dogs (Gabby and Gigi), camping, fishing, cookouts, casinos, and time spent with family. Myra spent most of her career working in the food service industry. She served for most of her working career as supervisor of the kitchen at southwest nursing home. She worked up until the last year of her life when she retired from Holy Soul’s Catholic school after-school program where she was affectionately known to the staff and kids as simply “Miss Myra”. From her early life of serving the elderly, to her later years of working with children, “Miss Myra” leaves behind a legacy of giving. Her memory will be cherished by those whose lives she touched.
Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home.
Susan Frazier, of Hensley
Susan Frazier, of Hensley, Arkansas, passed away on September 26, 2026. Born on May 14, 1978, Susan was a beautiful person inside and out whose kindness, generosity, and loving spirit touched the lives of so many.
Susan is survived by her loving husband, Shaun Frazier; her three children, Devin Chambers, Dustin Swint, and Alex Vidana (Ceara); and her cherished grandchild, Eli Vidana.
She is also survived by her mother, Rebba Garner (Eddie); her father, Kenneth Jones; and her four siblings, Rebecca Broyles (Jeremy), Kelley Jones, Lonnie Jones (Lindsey), and Joseph Wright. She is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews and 22 great nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in her heart.
Susan will be remembered for her beautiful heart, her giving nature, her incredible work ethic, and the countless ways she cared for the people around her. Her absence leaves a space that can never truly be filled, but the love she gave and the memories she created will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
Susan was deeply loved, will be greatly missed, and will never be forgotten.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., with visitation beginning one hour prior at 11:00 a.m. at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home.
