Library Prom 2025 – In-Person Registration Required
Date: Saturday, May 3, 2025
Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Location: Lower Commons
Branch: Bob Herzfeld Memorial Library – Benton
This is an event for teens ages 13-18 exclusively, no younger siblings, parents, or college students allowed. We are going to have a fun dance with age-appropriate music, and there will be plenty of supervision from your favorite librarians. You can dance, eat snacks, take pictures with your friends, and hang out. You cannot use the computer, check out books, or have free access to the whole library.
In-Person Registration Required
Each teen must fill out a Library Prom contract, which requires a guardian’s signature. These contracts must be turned into any of our three library branches by April 30, 2025 to be admitted into prom.
What to wear: Library Prom is a formal dance, so prom attire is necessary. This means any style of formal or semi-formal dresses are perfect, just make sure all bathing suit areas are covered. Dress pants (no shorts!) and a dress shirt are also appropriate. You can go the extra mile and get a suit jacket and a tie, but both are optional.
Need a dress? Visit our prom dress closet starting March 3 for a free gently used dress.
