Kansas State Wildcats football has added firepower to its defensive front with the transfer of edge rusher Elijah Hill, a standout freshman from Bryant, Arkansas, according to Topeka Capital-Journal reporter Wyatt D. Wheeler. Read more below.
Hill, a 2025 graduate of Bryant High School and former Bryant Hornet football player, announced his transfer from Kennesaw State in Georgia, after a breakout season that earned him First Team All-Conference USA honors.
As a true freshman, the 6-foot-2, 230-pound pass rusher totaled 22 tackles, including 11.5 for loss and nine sacks. Pro Football Focus analysts credited him with 11 sacks overall, ranking him among the top 50 graded pass rushers in college football.
Though Hill’s run defense is said to be still developing, Kansas State believes in his high ceiling and expects him to contribute immediately as a pass rush specialist.
Hill entered the transfer portal on January 13th with a “do not contact” tag, which may indicate that he already knew where he wanted to join the Wildcats. He’ll do so now, with three years of eligibility remaining.
