The Lady Hornets captured their second conference championship over the past four seasons on Friday with a thrilling 2-1 win at Conway. Bryant (19-3-2) took an early lead after a goal from junior Jennifer Vivar. Team captain Lily Miller, one of nine seniors, scored the game-winning goal with less than 2 minutes left. Vivar paces Bryant this spring with 14 goals, while Miller has assisted on a team-high nine goals.

Bryant enters the postseason as the No. 1 seed from the Central conference, chasing its third state title since 2015. The 6A girls state tournament will be held at Bryant. The Lady Hornets will play the Game 3 winner (Bentonville West or Cabot) at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10.
