The Saline County Fair Association launched its “Foundations of the Fair” recognition campaign to honor the generations of volunteers who built local fair traditions. From June 2 – July 31, 2026, community members can purchase permanent recognition plates to celebrate individuals, families, and businesses that have impacted the association.
The campaign, themed “Honor the Past. Build the Future,” will culminate in a permanent Recognition Wall at the fairgrounds. Organizers plan to unveil the wall for public viewing during Fair Week, scheduled for September 8–12, 2026.
Families, friends, and local businesses can participate by purchasing custom recognition plates for a contribution amount of $100 per plate. Each plate measures 8 x 3 inches, and consists of durable Aluminum Composite Material (ACM).
Text will display on a single line when possible, though two-line formatting may be used when necessary. The plates will become a permanent part of the Foundations of the Fair Recognition Wall.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will directly support the Saline County Fair Association’s Capital Improvement Campaign. Funded projects include arena reconstruction, livestock barn reconstruction, infrastructure improvements, and future facility enhancements. The association operates as a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, making contributions tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Community members can register online at https://pci.jotform.com/form/261538202966158 or submit a physical registration form. The association accepts cash or check payments. Physical forms and payments can be mailed or delivered to the Saline County Fair Association at 8633 Highway 190, Benton, AR 72015.
