Event organizers have announced the cancellation of Saline County Eats, originally scheduled to take place on April 2, 2026.
The decision follows careful evaluation and direct feedback from participating restaurants and vendors. Many local restaurant partners expressed that rising food costs, coupled with the challenge of staffing both their businesses and off-site events, have created financial pressures that make participation difficult to sustain at this time.
Saline County Eats was designed to celebrate the local culinary community and bring residents together to enjoy the diverse food culture of the area. While the cancellation is disappointing, organizers believe this decision supports the long-term health and stability of the restaurants and small businesses that are essential to the community.
“We are incredibly grateful to the restaurants, vendors, sponsors, and community members who have supported Saline County Eats,” said Bryant Chamber of Commerce. “Our priority is ensuring that our local partners are set up for success, and we look forward to exploring future opportunities that is more sustainable for everyone involved.”
Individuals who have purchased tickets online will receive refunds for the tickets purchased in the coming days. Attendees are encouraged to monitor their original form of payment for processing updates.
Event organizers will be working closely with sponsors and partners in the coming days to discuss next steps.
