Bryant Mayor Chris Treat announces his intention to run for reelection.
“It has been my honor and pleasure serving as mayor of my hometown. With the people’s permission, I’d like to continue to serve for another four years.”
Mayor Treat won in 2024 on a campaign of four pillars: Vision, Leadership, Problem Solving, Economic Development.
With the input from City Council, City Staff, and residents, Mayor Treat turned those pillars into a strategic plan that charted the city’s course for the last two years.
“I’m proud of what we have been able to accomplish so far. We have a great team here at Bryant. I hope the residents see the council and the administration working hard to move the city forward.”
Two major themes have marked Treat’s tenure as Mayor: Communication and Long-Term Planning. “The Mayor’s memo and council wrap-up videos go out monthly to keep our community informed. The Bryant Leap Forward initiative is gathering momentum to get our people engaged.
“I’m confident a Bryant that is unified, informed, and engaged will set us up for a great future. We are committed to a ten year vision of progress and unity to make sure we hand off a great city to the next generation, just like those who came before have done for us.”
Mayor Treat is confident four more years of consistent leadership is crucial to face the challenges of one of the fastest-growing cities in the state.
“I’m asking the people to give me their vote as we take a Bryant Leap Forward together.”
