The Humane Society of Saline County will host a drive-thru low-cost vaccination clinic for dogs and cats on Sunday, May 31, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. behind the Bauxite Post Office at 101 School Street.
The clinic will provide affordable vaccinations administered by Dr. Hannah Urig and Dr. Ashley Nguyen, with services available for dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens.
For dogs, available vaccines include:
Rabies vaccine – $15 cash
Annual combination shots (distemper, adenovirus type II, parainfluenza, and parvovirus), and bordetella (kennel cough) – $15 cash
Cats can receive:
Rabies vaccine – $15 cash
Annual combination vaccines, which include protection against feline rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, panleukopenia, and chlamydia psittaci – $15 cash
The event will operate as a drive-thru clinic, meaning pet owners will remain in their vehicles while pets receive vaccinations. No appointments are necessary, and services will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
Bring cats in individual carriers and keep them secured during the process. For safety reasons, aggressive pets will not be accepted.
The clinic is open to everyone, with no income or residency requirements, making it accessible to all pet owners in the community. However, attendees should note that payment is cash only, and no additional services or products will be available beyond the listed vaccinations.
Officials also note the clinic will be canceled in the event of rain.
