Dawn Creekmore announced her intent to run for State Representative, District 92 in the Republican Primary to be held March 3, 2026. The current office holder, Representative Julie Mayberry, is not running for re-election. District 92 covers portions of Grant and Saline Counties.

“I was fortunate to be elected to the House of Representatives in 2005 until 2011 and really enjoyed serving. I was an advocate for children and victims of domestic violence. In addition, I helped establish the first task force to study the effects of Alzheimer’s disease. During my time I also voted for almost $1 billion of tax cuts. lam a proponent of a smaller and more transparent government, cutting red tape and making government more accessible to citizens. | look forward to speaking with the people in Grant and Saline Counties about my experience and asking for their vote and support in the upcoming election.”
Currently Creekmore is a Mortgage/Loan advisor for Peoples Bank. After serving in the House of Representatives for 6 years she was elected to the Saline County Quorum Court. Previously Creekmore received endorsements from NRA, Arkansas Right to Life, Arkansas Professional Fire Fighters Association and the Saline County Fraternal Order of Police. She has also received many awards including the Domestic Peace Award, Abate Freedom Champion Award, Outstanding Advocate Award and was named the AARP Champion for legislation supporting seniors.
She and her husband, Mike, have been married 41 years and live in East End. They have two daughters and 2 grandsons. They are active members of East End Baptist Church.
