Bryant Mayor Allen Scott, City staff and others hosted a time for residents to have coffee and conversation and get the latest on projects.
Mayor Scott spoke about recent drainage, parks and streets projects other matters, accompanied by the City Engineer, Chief of Police, Parks Director, Chamber Director, and others.
After the update, two Boy Scouts made a presentation recommending the construction of a skate park at Mills Park, and then residents asked several questions covering various topics. When residents come to these meetings, they have access to immediate answers to questions since city leaders are all there. The meetings are on the first Saturday of the month at 9 a.m. Watch MySaline for new events.

My guess is that there are at least two reasons it hasn’t been built. You need to have money in the budget for it oh, and you need to have a company available to do it. However, there may be a host of other reasons, including insurance. If you want from the city and not someone who’s just guessing k like I am), contact the city directly to ask. It’s not a guarantee that they will see your comment here.
