The Bryant City Council will meet Tuesday, March 31, 2026, with a wide-ranging agenda that includes financial approvals, personnel updates, and several development-related resolutions. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Boswell Municipal Complex, following a 5:30 p.m. workshop session.
During the earlier workshop, council members are scheduled to review several Human Resources items before taking possible action later in the evening. These include updates to the Public Works organizational chart, as well as the creation of new positions for an Aquatics Specialist and a Grants Manager.
The regular meeting will open with routine business, followed by presentations and announcements. Among those items is a proclamation recognizing Child Abuse Awareness Month, along with updates from Crafton Tull and the Greater Bryant Chamber of Commerce. Council members will also consider appointing Philip Lewis to the Planning Commission to represent Ward 1.
Financial matters will make up a significant portion of the agenda. The council is expected to review and vote on the February 2026 financial report, accept the unaudited 2025 financial report, and consider adopting an amended budget for the 2026 fiscal year. The council will also review the final draft of the 2026 Budget Book, which has been submitted for consideration in a Government Finance Officers Association award program.
In addition, the council will consider an ordinance that would waive a conflict of interest to allow the city to enter into a contract with a landscaping company owned by a city employee. Another item under consideration is a resolution to begin condemnation proceedings on property in the Wildwood Terrace Subdivision for the purpose of constructing a gravel road.
Several resolutions on the agenda relate to future development and infrastructure funding. The council will consider measures expressing the city’s willingness to pursue federal Transportation Alternatives Program or recreation trail funding for projects associated with Mills Park, Raymar, and Midland.
The meeting will also include an opportunity for public comments, followed by remarks from council members and the mayor before adjournment. The meeting is open to the public and will be streamed on the city’s YouTube channel.
