Benton Parks and Recreation is inviting families to dive into spring fun at the annual Underwater Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at the River Center in Riverside Park. Read more details and sign up below.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1800 Citizens Drive and will feature several sessions where participants can hunt for Easter eggs in the leisure pool.
Each session allows up to 100 swimmers of any ability level to search for eggs underwater.
Participants will begin by checking in at the River Center front desk and waiting in a designated area of the gymnasium before their session begins. While waiting, families can relax, take photos with the Easter Bunny, and get ready for their turn in the pool.
Once called, participants will be led to the natatorium, where they will line up along the pool deck. After staff review the rules, the egg hunt begins.
At the end of each session, participants will exchange the eggs they collected with River Center staff for a goodie bag filled with treats.
Each session will include one “golden egg.” The lucky participant who finds it can trade it in for a custom Easter basket.
Participants should bring:
- A swimsuit (and swim diaper if needed)
- A mesh bag or porous bucket to collect eggs
Parents are welcome to enter the water to assist their children and do not need to register.
Lifeguards will be on duty during the event.
Register for one of the times below. Participation is guaranteed only for those who register in advance.
