Families in Benton can cool off and enjoy a free screening of “Zootopia 2” during the upcoming Movie at the Pool event hosted by Benton Parks and Recreation. Scheduled for Thursday, June 18, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., the event will take place at the River Center Natatorium and offers free admission for registered participants.
Due to safety and facility constraints, event organizers have set a strict capacity limit of 200 people. Officials emphasize that advance registration is required to secure a spot for the evening, and entry will not be permitted once the capacity cap is reached.
The city has established several guidelines to ensure a safe environment for all attendees. Rafts and other large inflatables will not be permitted in the water during the screening. For younger children or non-swimmers, the facility’s leisure pool and splash pad areas will remain fully open and accessible throughout the event.
While food and drinks are restricted near the water, families may bring snacks to enjoy in the designated balcony area overlooking the pool. Residents seeking additional information or looking to register can reach out to organizers via email at [email protected] or by calling 501-776-5970.
