Residents interested in learning the art of apiculture are invited to attend a free introductory beekeeping workshop at the Saline County Fairgrounds this August.

The workshop is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, August 18th, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Saline County Fairgrounds.
Hosted by Southern Yankee Homestead, this educational session is tailored specifically for beginners with little to no prior experience. Instructors will guide attendees through the fundamental basics of beekeeping, providing the foundational knowledge needed to safely start and maintain a healthy bee colony.
