Arvest Bank announced Tuesday that four teachers in Saline county have been awarded $500 prizes as part of its “We Love Teachers” campaign. A total of 160 awards, totaling $80,000, are being given this year throughout Arvest’s footprint.
The Arvest initiative to honor educators was launched on Oct. 5. Nominations were accepted via the Arvest Bank Facebook page. The winners in Saline county are:
- Katrina Cox, Harmony Grove
- Jordan Thurman, Bethel Middle School
- Leslie Harber, Robert L. Davis Elementary
- Megan Britt, Harmony Grove
“Arvest is so appreciative of the teachers that serve our communities, especially the four winners in Saline county,” said Phillip Partain, community bank president of Arvest Bank in Saline county. “We know that this year in particular, their jobs are especially difficult, and we hope this offers some relief.”
