The City of Bryant released plans on Tuesday afternoon for construction of a roundabout on the long-planned intersection improvements at the intersection of Hilltop, Hilldale, and Bryant Parkway. Construction has already begun. See more plan illustrations below.
During this phase, Hilldale Road will be closed from Highway 5 to Hilltop Road. See the map below. The goal is for construction to be completed by the end of August before school begins.
This section of road will be closed during construction, but residents on Hilldale Road will still be able to access their homes.
In 2018, Metropolitan awarded a grant of $504,000.00 to the City to complete the project. The design was completed after citizens had their input in public meetings City held public meetings. The City, Garver Engineering, and Bryant Public Schools coordinated the construction to create the schedule.
