A complimentary lunch for our local first responders is planned for Friday, Sept. 11, in Benton to honor the firefighters, police officers, EMTs and others who serve the community. Read more below.
The 9/11 First Responder’s Lunch will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 7800 Alcoa Road.
The event is hosted by Chris Crain (Dodge, Jeep, RAM) and The Big Lot Pre-Owned Vehicles, with lunch provided by Wright’s Barbecue.
The organizers are inviting the community to come together on Sept. 11 and show appreciation for the local first responders who serve and protect the community.

The lunch is intended as a thank-you to firefighters, police officers, EMTs and other first responders. The entire community is invited to attend, show support and help make the day a meaningful one for local first responders.
The event organizers say that even a small “thank you” can make a big difference and are encouraging residents to participate in recognizing the people who respond when their communities need them.
