Martin Allen Johnson
Martin Allen Johnson, 69, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2026. He was born June 5, 1957, in Little Rock, Arkansas.
He was the husband of the late Rhonda Tucker Johnson. They shared 32 years of marriage. Marty was a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Nancy Cordilia Johnson; his wife, Rhonda Tucker; his sister, Kelly Evans; his nephew, Bradley Reed; and his many best friends with fur: Jip, Clipster, Shotzy, Heidi, and Buddy.
Marty is survived by his bonus children: Kimberly Still (Mark) of Benton, Brian Brooks (Alisha) of Cabot; six grandchildren, Zack Jones (Devyn), Bailey Smith (Colton), Alison Shackleford (Stephen), Hannah Still, Alexis Brooks, and Caleb Brooks; nine great-grandchildren, Rylee Jones, Hadley Shackelford, Bentley Brooks, Cash Smith, SJ Shackleford, Ainsley Mosley, Max Hussung, Cohen Smith, and Keaton Shackleford; his sister, Dreama Reed (Charles); nieces Tiffany Turpin (Claude) of Beebe, Megan Alexander (Michael) of North Carolina, and Nikki Johnston (Colby) of Greenbrier; nephew Derek Goshien, of Overland, Kansas; and many other family members and friends that he loved.
Marty enjoyed life and rarely turned down an opportunity for an adventure. He loved riding motorcycles and was an avid scuba diver. He and Rhonda made many memories traveling together, including trips to California and North Carolina, where he made time to explore beneath the water. Marty also enjoyed sky jumping and lived life with a sense of adventure and excitement.
More than anything, Marty loved his family and the memories they made together. He will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his love for those around him, and the many stories and memories he leaves behind.
Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 17, 2026, at Smith Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St., Benton, Arkansas. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m., also at the funeral home.

Johnny Edward Rodgers
Johnny Edward Rodgers, 54, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on August 4, 2026. He was born on February 6, 1972, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Paul Rodgers and Verda Ann Davis.
Johnny was a sweet soul with a servant’s heart and a fun, free spirited personality. He worked as a painter from a young age and took great pride in his work. Johnny was always willing to help others and was known for his kindness, generosity, and caring heart. He was truly one of a kind.
Above all, Johnny loved his family. He cherished the time he spent with them and brought laughter, love, and his fun-loving spirit wherever he went. Those who knew Johnny will remember him for his warm heart, his willingness to help others, and the special way he made people feel.
Johnny was preceded in death by his father, Paul Rodgers.
He is survived by his children, Chase (Hailie) and Emma; his mother, Verda Ann Davis (Dale); his siblings, David, Joey (Jennifer), and Cory (Christina); his nephews, Wesley, Nathan, Nicholas, Braden, and Benjamin; his nieces, Aubrey, Abigail, Rylee, and Jaycie; and many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at New Hope Church of the Nazarene, 5519 Atwood Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72206.

Carolyn Gail Norris
Carolyn Gail Norris passed away peacefully on August 10, 2026, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of kindness. Born on January 30, 1945, Carolyn touched the lives of many with her warmth and gentle spirit.
Throughout her 81 years, Carolyn exemplified grace, compassion, and dedication in all aspects of her life. She was known for her steadfast presence and her ability to make those around her feel valued and heard. Every interaction with Carolyn was marked by her genuine interest in the lives of others, and she will be remembered for her unwavering support and heartfelt encouragement.
Carolyn’s family, friends, and those privileged to know her mourn her passing while remembering the positive influence she had on countless lives. Her absence is deeply felt, and her memory will be carried forward by all who were part of her world.
Visitation for Carolyn Gail Norris will be held on August 14, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Dial & Dudley Funeral Home, located at 4212 Hwy 5 North, Bryant, AR 72022. Family, friends, and all whose lives Carolyn touched are invited to gather in remembrance and pay their final respects.
Carolyn’s life was a testament to the power of kindness and love. She leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire and comfort those who hold her dear in their hearts.
