A Benton restaurant that has been around for many years in one form or another is on the market again. Read more below.
It’s currently Blue Heaven. Before that for a few years, it was Ed and Kay’s for perhaps the longest amount of time – decades. Before that, it was Ed and Alma’s – with a different Ed. And I didn’t know it before, but according to food author Kat Robinson, it was Pat’s Cafe before that.
The news started to leak out as Blue Heaven’s Realtor Jonathan Dixon, posted a video on Tiktok. The video showcases the restaurants amenities and history.

Dixon stated that the owners of Blue Heaven have no plans to close the restaurant before the sale. They intend to sell the land and the business, so a buyer can continue operating it under the same name or do something else with it.
Blue Heaven posted a statement on their social media on Thursday afternoon:
“After a lot of thought and consideration, our family has made the difficult decision to sell the business. As many of you know, we are actually a small family run restaurant and sometimes life requires us to make tough choices. We are incredibly grateful and so blessed for the support that our community has shown us over the years. We began this journey during Covid and had no idea what to expect. Your support, friendship, and loyalty have meant more to us than we could ever put into words. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey.
“Yes, the business is for sale but it will be a long process, so for now it’s business as usual, and we look forward to continuing to serve you and share great meals together. We cannot thank you enough for all the great memories you have given us throughout the years.
“With great gratitude, The Blue Heaven Family. We are still open so please come see us!💙”
Below is a photo of the restaurant from 2019. The restaurant sat empty after Italian restaurant Bruno’s vacated the premises.
