Everyone please welcome Saline County’s own Jace Thompson to the MySaline Weather Team. He’s got a great handle on the weather at age 12 (almost 13) and he wants to be a meteorologist when he grows up.

🟡 → Weather Aware Day 6/18/26
After our last forecast, the National weather service has issued a LEVEL 1 out of 5 for Saline and surrounding counties.
Travel impacts may appear early Thursday morning but don’t fret. The severe weather risk is not for early morning, and more for Thursday night into Friday morning. This will be an overnight event and MySaline WX will be in the MySaline WX Dome watching these storms as they develop.
This “risk” is a few days away. Conditions May change and MSW will provide updates through the next couple of days.

This storm is far away but we can provide a non set in stone timeline, See the timeline below:
Time & Expected Weather:
- 6 AM – Noon, Mostly sunny, hot, humid. Some rain expected
- Noon – 5 PM, Hot and breezy. Temperatures near 90-92°F.
- 5 PM – 8 PM, Clouds begin increasing. Most locations remain dry.
- 8 PM – Midnight, Scattered thunderstorms may begin developing and moving into Central Arkansas.
- Midnight – 6 AM Friday, Highest chance for storms in Saline County. Some storms could produce gusty winds.
