The Saline County Warming Center will be open in response to upcoming extremely cold temperatures.
Hours
The center will be open from Tuesday, February 18, at 6:00 p m. through Thursday, February 20, at Noon.
Location
The location is Northside Church of Christ, at 917 N. East St., Benton, AR 72015 (map), near Saline Memorial Hospital. Guests seeking shelter can come to the gym entrance.
Expectations
This warming center will provide a safe, warm, and welcoming environment for anyone in need during the harsh winter weather. The facility will operate as an alcohol-free, smoke-free, and drug-free space, with 24-hour on-side security to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests and volunteers.
