Local ministry to distribute 300 free Thanksgiving turkeys Nov. 21 in Benton

GracePoint Church of Benton and A Side of Grace Street Ministry will co-host the annual Big Turkey Giveaway on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2026, providing 300 frozen turkeys to local households in need ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.

The drive-thru community distribution will operate on a first-come, first-served basis in the church parking lot. Read more below.

The giveaway will run from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at GracePoint Church, located at 1206 AR Hwy 5 in Benton. Organizers advise that supplies are limited to 300 birds and will be distributed while supplies last.

To serve as many families as possible, the event is strictly limited to one turkey per vehicle. Drivers and passengers are asked to remain in their cars as volunteers load the turkeys.

The outreach event is presented as part of the “One Dream for a Big Feed” initiative by A Side of Grace Street Ministry in partnership with GracePoint Church of Benton, aiming to assist Saline County residents facing food insecurity during the holiday season.
