Just so you know why the machines are in the road, the Saline County Road Department has been working on several big projects.
On Buffalo Road in the Paron area they have been working on blade-spreading asphalt over the bad spots in the road.
On Woodson Lateral, they had to replace a culvert that ran under phone lines.
Now traffic and water may run a little more smoothly. Be safe and be courteous around these crews when you see them. They’re trying to make it better for all of us.

Eddie Road has been torn up for one month and they haven’t repaired it as of 4-26-19. Should have been no more than 2 days.

Have you called the county to find out what is going on?
Cindy Biram says
I live on the south end of Silver Maple Drive in Maple Creek off Woodson Lateral. The culvert in front of our house has been ran over by 4 wheelers and trucks for several years. As a result it is flattened out and will not drain. Mine and my neighbor across the streets yard floods every time there is a heavy rain. This also backs up water in our other neighbors yard. It would be nice if you could check this out and possibly replace it with a larger culvert. Thank you. Cindy Biram

Cindy, you need to contact the county directly. Speak to your Justice of the Peace. I believe you’re in District 1, that would be Pat Bisbee. Double-check by going to the Maps page at https://www.mysaline.com/maps/ and click on the JP map. Once you have found your District, go to the Elected Officials page at https://www.mysaline.com/elected-officials/ then scroll down to the JPs to find the right one.
