A 29-year-old Benton, Arkansas woman could get up to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty on Tuesday, to one count of distributing child pornography in federal court. The conviction stems from a 2024 investigation that uncovered over a hundred images and videos of child sexual abuse material on her electronic devices. Read more below.
Regina Mai Allen pleaded guilty on July 1, 2026, in the U.S. Eastern District Court of Arkansas to one count of distribution of child pornography. While a sentencing date has not yet been set, Allen could face between 5 and 20 years in prison under her plea agreement. She also faces a potential fine of up to $250,000 and will be required to register as a sex offender.
The case began in February 2024 when the Arkansas State Police forwarded a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to the Attorney General’s Special Investigations Division. Authorities executed a search warrant at Allen’s home and seized several electronic devices that contained 51 images and 133 videos of child sexual abuse materials. Although initially arrested on 20 counts, Allen ultimately faced four federal charges before accepting the single-count plea deal.
The arrest report on Feb 8, 2024 by Special Agent Jeremiah Terrell, with the Arkansas Office of the Attorney General states that he served a search warrant at Allen’s apartment on River Street in Benton. It states that Allen was interviewed and “confessed to sending videos, depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child.” Allen was then “transported to the Saline County Sheriff’s Office and charged with 20 counts of Dist, Poss, Viewing of Matter Depicting Sexually Explicit Conduct Involving a Child.”
Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin announced the guilty plea, expressing gratitude to the Special Investigations Division and the Benton Police Department for their collaboration in the case. Griffin reiterated his office’s commitment to holding offenders accountable and continuing to investigate crimes involving the exploitation of children.

Attorney General Tim Griffin issued a statement regarding the arrest Thursday, February 8th, of Regina Mai Allen, 27, of Benton on 20 counts of distributing, possessing, or viewing of matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child.
“Special agents in my office’s Special Investigations Division arrested Allen after executing a search warrant at her home. I am grateful to the special agents in my office who investigated this case and thankful to the Benton Police Department for its assistance. My office will continue its fight against those who prey on Arkansas’s children.”
Allen was booked Thursday into the Saline County Detention Center, where she is currently being held pending a bond hearing.
