It’s been a few years since Pinnacle Car Care set up for business at the corner of Market and Conway Streets in historic downtown Benton. Recently, locals have noticed that owners Owners Mike and Deborah Carafello have shut the doors.
I spoke with Deborah who said they were called to tend to a family member’s health.
“We’re not sure if it will be a week or a year, so we have to leave it open ended,” stated Deborah. “We will be back though.”

Mike and Deborah are great people and will be missed. Mike is the best, most honest mechanic around. He has taken care of our needs and the many people we have referred to him since they have been in Benton. We will be lost without him. We wish them the best of luck and pray that their family situation will be a happy and blessed one. We will miss you guys but hope to you again soon.
So Sad. We are praying that God will give Mike and Deborah strength and peace as He works out the family health issues they are facing.
We moved to Alexander from South Dakota last year and were delighted to find a mechanic with integrity and loved getting to know them both. Hope they are able to restart their business soon.
