Love anime? Join the club!
Join us every Tuesday to watch anime, discuss our favorite manga, and maybe do a themed craft or two! (And sometimes there are snacks.)
This club is aimed at ages 13-18, and the teens decide what we watch from a list of screened episodes. We typically watch the first two episodes of a new anime each week. But if there is enough interest, we might watch more episodes of a show. If you would like to recommend an anime to watch, please do! The first two episodes will be screened and, if it passes reviews, added to the watch list.
Please note: most content we watch will be rated 14+ or younger (using the age ratings on Crunchyroll).

Kids 4th – 7th grade can learn about journalism and help create content for our very own tween library newspaper.
Interested in journalism, writing, drawing, or photography? Come join the Pencil Pack! Add your spark to our monthly library newspaper at this journalism club for beginners. We’ll learn the basics of writing a good article and create content to be published in our monthly library newspaper just for kids.
We’ll sing songs, read stories, and have a fun activity each week that focuses on early literacy skills/fine motor skills. We look forward to seeing you!

The Rising Stars Presents The Lion King

Join us for a roaring adventure as the Saline County Library’s Rising Stars take the stage to present Disney’s The Lion King JR.—a live musical performance filled with unforgettable music, powerful storytelling, and heartwarming moments.
Follow Simba’s journey from a curious cub to the rightful king of the Pride Lands in this vibrant stage adaptation of the beloved Disney classic. Featuring iconic songs like “Hakuna Matata,” “Can You Feel the Love Tonight,” and “Circle of Life,” this high-energy production will have audiences of all ages singing along and cheering for their favorite characters.
➡️ Performance will be held at Bryant High School on Thursday, May 29th at 7:00 PM.
Admission is free, and all are welcome to attend! Registration is strongly encouraged, but not required.
We are also accepting community pantry donations as tickets. You are not required to give, but all donations are greatly appreciated. There will be an area to collect food and hygiene items at the venue, such as:
