The Bryant Planning Commission is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. Monday, May 11, 2026, at the Boswell Municipal Complex in the City Hall courtroom, where members will review a mix of residential, commercial, and temporary business requests. Read more below.
Among the items on the agenda are multiple requests related to short-term rental properties. Commissioners will hold public hearings and consider conditional use permits (CUPs) for homes located at 2712 Lavern Street and 5318 Charles Court.
Another major item includes a proposed rezoning at 500 Prickett Road, where applicants are seeking to change the zoning designation from C-2 to a Planned Unit Development (PUD).
Commissioners will also consider a commercial subdivision plat at 711 W. Commerce Drive. This item has been recommended for approval contingent upon review by the city engineer.
The commission has already approved a temporary fireworks business at 400 Bryant Avenue, as well as a residential design modification for roof pitch at 3104 Cedar Park Street.
Sign permits have also been approved, including these locations
- Letta’s Flower Cart on Highway 5 North,
- Arkansas Medicare Center on North Reynolds Road,
- and 501 Pyro on Interstate 30.
The meeting will include time for public hearings on several of the requests, allowing residents to provide input before decisions are made.
